Also, there was a coffee shop on the NE corner of Hwy 6 and Hwy 19 (the stop light in town) that has great free WiFi. They are open at 7AM and have a breakfast menu as well as the coffee cake stuff. Hope they too are still there.

Ive been to the Mother ship several times since 2016. Yes it is PRIOR to 6 am pickup time.

We surprisedly found an excellent MEXICAN resturant in town on the Corner of Rt 6 and Rt 19. Great food, just hope they survived the COVID thing. I was told there is a new resturant in town, which I know nothing about. But certainly will check it out.

Other than that, safe motoring you all.

I'm heading out 4 weeks after you, from Delaware. Let us know how it went for you: especially the restaurants - though we will be staying at Oakwood. It's safer than asking my wife to get up and get out that early in the AM.

We are at camp Newmar this week having service work done. Invoice will likely be $4-6k. Is it normal practice to tip your lead service tech? This is our first time here so not sure. Thanks!

We were there and did tip our lead. He did a great job and found stuff under warranty that we did not know needed addressed. In the end it is personal preference. We tipped $100

We have been here couple nights. We had a great dinner at Rue152 and today saw a live showing of The Little Mermaids at The Barns of Nappanee.

Will update about service experience this week.

We were at the service center 2 weeks ago. All we can say is, Wow! What a terrific experience. The technicians were very knowledgeable, extremely talented, and cleaned up after their work. Everything that we wanted fixed was addressed with a result that was often better than we expected.
Everyone was very courteous and friendly and the shop was immaculate.


We will certainly be back for any service that we need on our Dutch Star.

We've been here since Tuesday and we'll be here next week, too. Getting warranty work done. We've really liked Nappanee and how the county is so RV-focused. We even bought an ATC car hauler trailer -- ATC is also based in Nappanee.

The Newmar factory tour was really cool, and we may venture out to do some other tours in the county.

It's pretty cool camping with and seeing so many other Newmars.

We will be at the Service Center during the week of 8/28. Does anyone have suggestions on a dog setter or boarding facility for small older dog in Nappanee? Only looking for daytime.

No help with daycare or sitter, but last time I was there, they had a pet-friendly lounge. It's a wonderful facility and some good restaurants in town.
