Arrived at Spartan Chassis in Charlotte, MI today. They say I should be finished tomorrow afternoon, but I will probably wait until Friday morning to head down to Camp Newmar.

Hi Newmar Gang! We left Camp Newmar a month ago and on our way S. incurred damage to basement compartment doors on psngr. side of our 08 Essex. Might someone currently at Camp Newmar do us a favor and check w. the mngr. of the highline shop to see IF they have bay doors stocked for quick deliver for a 4502 Essex. We noticed when there a rack of doors on the right side as you enter the svc. area. Hoping they don't have to manufacture replacements for this rig. Thank you, thank you. Steve & Lynette

Arrived at Camp Newmar, and parked in location #1 in front of the Service Center building.
Chickadee|Lynette, although I am at the "lower class" service area, and don't know where the "upper class" area is, I will ask on Monday. What is your color scheme? Maybe they will have one that's already painted.

Hi Bill: It's the shop directly behind and adjacent (attached) to the Svc. Center lounge bldg. As ya walk in BIG garage door on N. end, there were racks of unpainted doors on your right. Thanks. Steve

Steve, I replied about the bay doors in your other topic thread.
Service is currently working 5 day weeks because they have LOTS of work. Production is running 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Maybe things are picking up in the industry?

Clarification. Service is working 4 days per week, but has the option of working Friday to get customer's coaches finished - so they don't have to stay over the weekend.
Some concern in the Service department over the closing of the Flexsteel plant here. Repairs to chairs, etc., are going to have to be sent longer distances. Also, some Newmar employees are concerned about family members and friends who were working for Monaco. All closed now.

Iowa Travelers left this morning for Florida. Jetsmania left yesterday afternoon. I should be heading back to Texas today, around noon.

Hi Nathan,
Can you tell me more about the woodwork service you're using? We're on our way to Newmar also.

We're in Omaha making our way to Nappannee for an appointment the 19th of Nov. We've sent the list of items to fix, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about visiting the factory, be it work that can be done, places for kids, etc.
Tom

The Lehman that Nathan is referring to is Carlisle Lehman of Focal Wood Products:

Sorry Tom, we are at Disney so i have not been online much. You already have a link but he is only a couple miles from the factory and he doesamazing work. You can search for him here and see lots of pics.
When are you leaving Newmar? We are arriving Dec 2-3. Hoping we can meet before you run off.

Hi Nathan,
Thanks for the info. We might look up the company. We could use some extra shelving.
We'll miss you at Newmar. We have to be in Chapel Hill for Thanksgiving. Our appointment is the 19th, and we expect to be done after a couple of days. Sorry to miss you. Are you in FLA until you drive to Indiana?
Tom

We're off to DisneyWorld in December. Any tips for visiting there? Did you stay at the RV Park?

Let's keep this topic about Camp Newmar.
Thanks.

We made it to Newmar straight from Iowa City and hooked up in the dark and a bit of snow while wondering if we went through a time zone.
