Checking on Future Appointments?
We have an appointment for March 30th.
We are wondering if there has been any talk of Newmar service center (in Nappanee) CLOSURES due to the virus. Could someone please check around or ask. I realize things could change at any time, but we are just trying to gather as much information as possible before we begin our journey from the SE USA..
Yes, we are as much interested in the non-official rumors and innuendos as the official word!
Of course, we plan to call and get the official answer as we begin our trip..
Thanks in advance for any information anyone can pass along..

There was an official statement yesterday that the service center remains open.
"In response to the COVID-19 virus, Newmar Corporation is restricting access to facilities on the main campus to employees and essential outside visitors only. As a result, and until further notice, the Kountry Klub office will be open to employees only. The Service Department and adjacent campground will remain open to those customers with appointments."

As of this morning, customers are not allowed in service bays. As of Friday, old Camp Newmar is barricaded off as well, no entry allowed.

I'm here for at least the next 10 days currently in Site 5 anyone want to hang out and talk shop I'm game at least till 10 LOL just drove 14 hours to get here.

According to Customer Service, the old Camp Ground was closed due to the Coronavirus. Also, due to the Coronavirus, customers are not allowed into the service bays anymore. I think this will be the new normal at Newmar. Service is still top notch here. Technicians/support staff are great.

Winnebago announced today that all their businesses (including Newmar) will close from March 23 to at least April 12.

I received a call yesterday canceling my service appointment that was scheduled for Monday, March 30th as Newmar is closing for 2 weeks.

I also talked with Newmar service yesterday PM and was told production would close but not service. Perhaps someone who is at Nappanee now could clarify this for us. Of course, things could change in the next few days.

We are sitting in service bay 19 (8:33 am 03/25/2020) finishing CPU tomorrow. Things were changing hourly on Tuesday, but now service center is open for bussiness with a few exceptions. No access to service bay unless CPU and no access to lobby after 3:00pm.
