After what happened at Red Bay, many manufacturers have closed their old campsites and are building new ones away from the buildings. Signs of the times we live in.

You can probably Google it, but the cliff notes are a couple that was there for service had too much, way too much, to drink and got into an argument. The wife fired up the motorhome, plugged in and slides out, and hit the gas. Drove into a bay door that had a brand new Tiffin that was being prepped for delivery. Substantial damage to both coaches. The lady was arrested and her mug shot looked like she had been rode hard and put up wet. One poster said it looks like she puts whiskey in her cheerios.

Oh my goodness! Hadn't heard. (Would have thought the RV Travel newsletter would have shared.)
Sad.
I just assumed that Winnie changed the rules...

We were at Red Bay in Feb. As a result of the incident, they changed their procedures, fenced & gated the service center.
The wrecked new coach was at Bay Diesel, rear end was a mess. Was told Tiffin replaced the yet to be delivered coach that was wrecked. Phaeton 40.

Don't know what's going on for a fact but heard they were having some Covid issues.
I got an answer by email but it took two days.

I've had good luck in the past calling around 7AM Eastern time, and never had luck calling after Noon Eastern time.

Sorry for the delay in answering you. At the new service center, not being able to go into the shop or coach while being serviced is all COVID precautions.

Gave up on going to Newmar for service so going to one of the best Newmar dealers in the mid-west....Way too long for them to respond and I am a on the phone guy and they can not offer that or even a call back...
So no at camp Newmar maybe when they talk on the phone again I will make a appointment to get the feel..
