I'll be there tomorrow for the class. The price is pretty high but everyone says it's worth it.

As a 21 year Newmar high line owner and a 45 year RVer we know there is going to be problems especially if you travel like we do which is 20 to 25 thousand miles a year. Yes Newmar needs to do a better job, as the whole industry does, but do remember there are going to be problems. The differences between our 95 LA and our 18 LA are unbelievable.
It sure is helpful to have some automotive and repair tool plus experience with RV travel.
The more we put in our Newmar's the more we are going to have to expect issues. Compare a Bay Star to a King Aire.

Did you have anything in between? That is a huge jump!

Yes it does. I cant tell you how many times a simple toolset and a bit of know how has saved me from a service call.

And service calls are not cheap, fast, or fun.

We had new a 04 Essex which we had for 14 years with many upgrades which we drove 140K plus miles. Put 100K on 95 LA and have 7K on 18 LA. It sounds like the redbaron73 is a traveling Newmar man.

I put about 8k miles a year on mine, so I'm not too far behind you. Having the Essex in between makes sense. I was thinking you had 250k plus on your 95 before upgrading, which would earn it's own thread!

This idea could be subject to a HOT debate.....

Had 4 DP's....3 previous Spartans..which meant...3 leaking radiators,3 R&R Bell Cranks,2 Tie Rod R&R and one leaking Ping tank..

We've been to factory for service twice..first time ok...second time was the worst service We've ever had in any of our 7 motorhomes

So,this time decided to go with Freightliner and see if thinks will get better,so far,19,000 miles,ok
Now this is our Humble Opinion Only.....C
