Why IRV2 is Great!

So we are in Rochester, MN, for what may be several weeks while my wife undergoes tests at the Mayo Clinic. The second day we are here, we don't have hot water.

But no need to panic -- I know from reading posts that I can hit the bypass switch for temporary relief from this problem and, sure enough, we have hot water for our showers when needed.

Then I go to the forums and search for the prior posts and find instructions on what to test. I run through the tests and determine that, in fact, the pump is bad. I call ITR and talk to Randy and he has me do a few more things and then says he will send me a new pump. With his help and the help of instructions in prior threads, I install the new pump and all is well!

Thanks everyone for all the help on this and other issues.

Where would I be without IRV2?? Gotta love it.

Glad everything worked out for you and now you can concentrate on your partner, she is important now.
We do have some good people here on irv2 sharing information and I put it all together in links like this one.
Enjoy the warm showers and the best for your wife.

Thanks for posting to let us know that you found useful advice and help! Sometimes it's difficult to know if a problem was solved or we made it more confusing.

I hope things go well for Mrs G, that treatments are effective and her recovery complete. Hopefully you two will have many more years to make cherished memories, enjoy your family, meet new friends and maintain connections with your existing friends.

May safe travels and good luck accompany you both.

As great as this forum (and ITR) is, prayer is even more effective for particularly challenging situations. I offer a prayer for your wife's caregivers to have great wisdom in diagnosing her condition and devising a treatment plan, and for her to respond rapidly and completely...

Our problems with our coaches are insignificant compared to ones health. Hope all works out with your wife’s issues, will be praying for positive outcome.

Amen! Prayers offered here too. May the doctors by guided to an effective treatment plan.

Thanks to all for the good wishes and prayers. I mentioned where we were only as background information, but this wonderful response adds a whole new reason why IRV2 is so great!
