Why is my Back up "Beeper" Not working?

I have a 16 Dutch Star..... I recently noticed that I no longer hear those "really neat" back up beeps.
I did find where it is located in the Engine compartment but could not detect any wiring issues.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I looked at my fuse chart and don't see a specific fuse for the back up beeper. In your chassis battery bay, there is a black box with fuses inside. Two of those are for back up lights, one for the hitch wiring and one for the actual rear backup lights. Check and see if your back up lights are working.

If you have checked your wiring connector to the beeper and it is tight , check your 12V fuses. I think it is wired in with your back-up lights.

Happy Trails

I think you're lucky that it's not working! ) That beeping is really annoying and unnecessary when one of us was outside at the rear when backing up.

Did you check the compartment under the drivers seat. On my 2018 DSDP on Spartan I noticed a fuse for backup buzzer

On my 2008 Dutchstar someone actually paid EXTRA for the backup beeper and got it as an option. When I bought the coach, it was the first thing I unplugged. Darn was that thing LOUD!!! I would count your spotter lucky it no longer works.

If mine stops working it’s probably because I left the switch in the cancel position. It used to drive us crazy backing into our garage
