Why so many Newmars for sale?

While searching for a used motorhome I notice that on rv trader and RVT that there seems to be more Newmar units for sale than any other brands. ( or at least a close 2nd). Why would that be? You thoughts??

They are still in business and producing quality units. They sell a lot of coaches and after a few years those coaches go up for sale.

Not too many coaches for sale that were made in 2010... perhaps because not many were sold due to the recession.

What time frame are you searching?

I agree, the others are in the scrap heap.

Newmar is making 9 coaches a day or another way 45 coaches a week. Dutch Star is the number 3 in sales right behind Tiffen. Compare the used coaches from Newmar against other brands at the same price point and you will se they are at least 10% higher in resale value. Newmar either new or used are the coaches in demand for good reasons.

Newmar is a very popular and well built (gas and diesel) motorhome that cover the total spectrum of low to high $$ units. It's not uncommon for some one to "trade up" from the $$ level they first purchase to a higher $$ level coach; hence, you will find many fairly late models for sale.

Tiffin products are also very common and are pretty much on the same quality level as Newmar. I've also heard good about Entegra, but they don't have the wide $$ level as Newmar and Tiffin.

Can't go wrong with either.

When you get old like me eye site fails and other thing happen to health, sold my 2003 coach to a traveling RN from Michigan and she is taking good care of it.
Over 35 years of RVING has come to a close but the old coach will be around a lot longer than I, so if you find one well maintained, join the Newmar family, you will be glad you did.
Many members on this forum have some very good old Newmars because they last.
