Wi-Fi Ranger - What carrier do you use for the LTE?

We have a Wi-Fi Ranger on our coach and am wondering what carrier you have to use the LTE side.
I don't want a debate on why the Wi Fi Ranger or not...There are enough of those on the forum already.
I am just trying to understand how you have your service plan set up to use.
Do you use T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T or ???
Do you have a different carrier for your phones?

Thanks in advance for your feedback

We use ATT for the wi-fi ranger and added it to our phone bill. Having said that, I think ATT is expensive for what you get. The additional coverage/ line is $50.00 month . Do any kind of streaming and you can blow through that in 2 evening’s and then they starting adding on in $10.00 increments.

I have AT&T which is expensive but just use as a backup. Primarily I thether my Verizon MiFi which has a Corporate unlimited plan which I don’t pay for. Works well.

One of these days someone (in corporate) is going to shut me down as I retired.
Interested in what others are doing so I have options when that day comes

NWIP,
Assuming you are in an area that has both services available does the AT&T Service thru the Wi-Fi Ranger work as well as the Verizon MiFi?

Does anyone use T-Mobile for their Wi-Fi Ranger?

We have T-Mobile 55+ plan and if we are some where that doesn't have Wi-Fi, I use our hotspot with unlimited data. I know this has nothing to do with Wi-Fi ranger, but its what we use. 2 phones, $105 a month.

Depending on the area generally one works better than the other, just depends on the area. Where AT&T reception is better service thru WiFi Ranger seems good.

Verizon has the best US coverage of all cellular carriers. ATT is next and Sprint and then TMobile.

Your results may vary if you park regularly in one non serviced area. My house has bad cellular for all.

I feel your pain. I have a corporate Verizon Hot Spot but I retired 1/31/20. Just holding my breath until they pull the plug.

I concur with your assessment based on my experience managing a “fleet” of 500 corporate cell phone and 300 hot spot units across the country.

Y, that assessment was based on selecting a US carrier for the FiatChryslerAutomobiles Uconnect Access program (connecting cars to the Internet). A little dated (probably 9 years old now) as the program has been running successfully having launched on 2013 Ram pickups. Any other conclusion is based on one user driving to a certain spot and getting ticked about X brand....which can affect any carrier on any given day.

I haven't read all the news, but with T-Mobile having acquired Sprint, I wonder what their plan will be to combine their infrastructures to better compete with Verizon and ATT on coverage not just on price.

I am impressed after driving around the country a bit that cellular voice and data is pretty darn good now-a-days on the major highways. Drive off the highway into the desert and it's gone as the antennas are highly tuned for where most of the people are to make the most of the infrastructure investment by the carrier.

SpaceX is the next one to watch. I think another 60 satellites launch today. That might just be what us roving travelers have been waiting for.

Congrats on your retirement! I left about 5 years ago, but back in the game with my own company.
