Wifi Ranger on 2015 Dutch Star 4313

Hello to all. I have a 2015 DS which has the double Girard awnings along passenger side and the decorative roof rail on the drivers side. Has anyone installed the Wifi Ranger Elite AC Flat Mount or the newer Wifi Ranger Convergence series with the shark fin enclosed antenna with success? Have you found the Girard awnings and roof rail block the antenna's ability to optimize signal since about 1/3rd of the antennas are below those side rails? I just learned Wifi Ranger is releasing their latest Convergence model next month called Everest (www.wifiranger.com). Has anyone had Newmar direct install any of the wifi Ranger units for you. Above my driver's seat is where the antenna cable would run to as that is where my stereo and other electronics are. I am seeking advice that anyone can offer. Using the garbage bat wing Winegard antenna to tether a wifi ranger elite is out of the question. My motorized bat wing motor will raise the antenna but no rotation and it won't return to down position. Likely replacing that w a King Jack. ANy advice greatly appreciated.
