Window Awnings

Anyone install their own window awnings? I have searched threads, no luck. If you know of a thread, please lead me to it I need to know how much "overhang" you allowed for awning to cover windows (width) Ron Hoover RV in Texas told me add 6 inches per window. Also, my Bathroom window only measures 19 inches, awnings smallest size is 30", will this look okay? Any help, ideas or advice appreciated. Thanks, Jojo

I install my own (and everybody else's) window awnings. The overhang is so the hardware won't foul the window, and is about 3" per side.
For your bathroom window, is there another window nearby you can use a single larger awning to cover both?

Thanks for the info Terry . The bathroom window is the only one not on the slide area, so I cannot go wider and cover it, this window will have to have its own awning. Jojo

Recently had a single awning installed over the two windows in living room slide--it extends approx. 6" past the windows on each side.

Finally got the Awnings orderd today! Going with the A&E Elite "made to match" my patio awning. We will have to plan a trip to Newmar Factory for the door awning; the current patio awning is installed to far forward to allow room for the matching Oasis Awning to clear awning arm. Not sure I want hubby to attempt moving patio awning; he has a very bad back! Besides a trip to the factory is always good for updates I know they do a great job ! Thanks for the video clip and comments! Jojo
