Ok I give up....

a) How do you get the blades off to replace with refills?

b) Where do guys get refills?

I just checked mine before a trip and the rubber is shot.... It is raining here in Texas and I like to have a good set on the rig and a spare set just in case.

I broke the code on how to get the wiper blade out. Now I just need to find the right refill. I will update when I have the rest of the info.

My blades were stamped "made in Brazil". Well, Brazil's not on my normal route so I took the assemblies off and took them to my local auto parts store and got standard Trico units to replace them as well as a spare set of refills. Now I have standard Trico numbers and can get blades anywhere if I need them.

Replaceing the total blade is the easy way out. I went to Wal Mart and picked up some 24" std refills and installed them.

The trick to removing the rubber is to unsnap the tab on the end cap and remove the barbed gizmo that holds the rubber in. To unsnap the end cap use a tip of a pen knife.

Buzzzz... std refills don't work on our Brazil made blades.

Sure thing. The 24" assemblies that I got for my Suncruiser were Trico part # 15-240. The refills for these assemblies are #75-240. This'll fit Winnebagos but I don't know about Newmars.

Got this off the Trico site....

Wiper replacement for 2004 Newmar Mountain Aire

Type - Part number
Black Blade - 68-241
Refill for Trico Blade - 75-240
Refill for Original Equipment Blade - 75-240
Winter Blade - 37-240

"The 75 Series are refills that fit both TRICO's 68 Series and Dyna blades. These refills feature a natural rubber wiping element and a steel bridge vertebrae, which are easily removed and installed via the refill's latch lock clip."

I have been trying to find replacements for my rig, and so far no joy. The arms are 32" long and no truck stop I have tried carries them. Neither do Wally World or Camping World. Any suggestions?

I did some research on the 32" Trico wipers and found that cost for each new blade was about $50 ea and they don't list a refill on their web site. I am going to CW and purchase new 28" blades that take a standard refill. I don't think the 2" difference in swept area will make that much difference.

I purchased my refills directly from Newmar parts department when I was at the factory, or they can be purchased when you attend any of the Newmar International Rallies. Ed.S
