Winterizing Fisher Paykel dishwasher

I don’t recall having this issue last year. Anyway, I’m trying to figure out how to short cycle the dishwashing cycle.

The book says to hit the power button and the washer will drain and turn off. Mine isn’t doing that. The “wash” indicator blinks mockingly at me but nothing else happens.

I just did mine a week ago (4th Winter now). Each time I just turn off the power button and it drains and shuts down. Not sure what else you would do.

Are you sure you powered off vs just hitting the "pause" button?

You are absolutely correct. My unit was justified in mocking me.

Thanks!
