Wiper Arm Recall Notice

Received a recall notice from Newmar today regarding the "windshield wiper arms [that] may have been manufactured incorrectly." Maybe that's why my wipers only clear a 2" swath.

This is the recall notice that Newmar customer service knew nothing about as late as last Friday. Since my notice is dated "June 28, 2018," I have to believe that there is a disconnect at Newmar between upper management and customer service.

Bottom line is that they have finally recognized a serious serious safety defect. Newmar says "Dealers will replace wiper arms. Estimated time for repair is 0.4 hours."

I'll be making an appointment soon to have this done.

This keeps coming up, it’s like they are two separate companies. Hopefully no one gets hurt one of these times as a result, that will change things.
