Received a recall notice from Newmar today regarding the "windshield wiper arms [that] may have been manufactured incorrectly." Maybe that's why my wipers only clear a 2" swath.
This is the recall notice that Newmar customer service knew nothing about as late as last Friday. Since my notice is dated "June 28, 2018," I have to believe that there is a disconnect at Newmar between upper management and customer service.
Bottom line is that they have finally recognized a serious serious safety defect. Newmar says "Dealers will replace wiper arms. Estimated time for repair is 0.4 hours."
I'll be making an appointment soon to have this done.
