Wiper blade insert replacement
I have a 2017 Newmar Ventana LE that I need to replace the wiper inserts on. Problem is the insert is blocked at each end by a cap that I’m unable to remove in order to slip the insert out.
Does anyone have experience with this that can advise me how to remove the end cap?
Thanks

On my two Dutch Stars, 2014 and 2019, the whole blade gets replaced. They were not designed for just inserts.

The days of buying inserts is long gone.
Now they make you buy the whole blade assembly.

Costco sells the entire blade in the GoodYear brand up to 28". It comes with multiple ways to attach it, so it should fit yours if 28" is long enough. They're about $10.00 each, a good deal.

If your wiper blade bolts on , I've modified Costco blades to fit by drilling out the rivet.

Skip, when I bought new blades at Newmar the new bolt would not fit through the hole in the arm. What I did was use the old bolt - fit perfect again. I just bought two new from Integrity RV, via the link DSD posted.

Thanks for all the responses. I located a pair at NAPA. Paid $54 each. Yikes
New question: the NAPA set had two attachment holes. One large and one small at the center within a half inch of each other. The instructions stated to use the smaller hole and the pins provided fit the smaller holes.
However, my old set of blades had only a large hole. I mounded the new blades using the small holes and pins and they work fine. But should I have used the former large pins from the old set, which I saved, instead?

$54 each .
I'm a little confused by your description ; but that's normal at my age .
Any chance you could post pictures .
If the blade is tight in the saddle mount , I think your ok , but I'd like to see things to confirm .

Not handy at the moment for pictures since the rig is in off site storage awaiting next outing.
The blade is snug in the mounting, I was just concerned about long term wear on the smaller pin. With the larger hole just a half inch from the smaller hole I feel it would have worked fine using the larger hole with the old pins. Just wondered if others had similar concerns since I could go back and reinstall with the larger holes and pins
