Wiper Blade Over Swing on 2003 Mountain Aire 3501

Wiper blades were over swinging to the point the lower edge of the blades were going about 2 inches below the windshield molding while the vehicle was not in motion.

Found screws missing from the window wiper motor mount.

Inserted 10mm (3 / 4 long) machine screws. The original screw holes would have been covered by the bracket if I did not insert two 5 / 16 washers (white arrow) between the bracket and the chassis. The washers helped to make the bracket flush/level.

I used the blue masking tape to keep the washers stacked while I inserted them between the bracket and chassis.

The over swing went away while the vehicle was parked. However, while in motion at 60 MPH, the over swing reappeared. I removed the Trico-RV 67-241 blades (the size recommended for the coach) and replaced with $4 SuperTech 19 inch blades from Walmart and blades swing arc stayed the same while the vehicle was parked or in motion during rain. The Trico blades are well-made, heavy, with a solid frame and are about $25 each. The SuperTech are light weight and have lots of holes in the frame. I am thinking longer SuperTech blades would work as well because of the weight and ability to allow air to flow through the blade frame.
