Wiper woes

So at slow speeds my 2004 mountain aire wipers work fine, but at highway speeds the driver side goes too far and falls off the windshield and the arm hits the glass (hard).

Is this issue typically an adjustment item? I see a few adjustments for the arm alignment but none that look to restrict the travel in that direction.

My wipers are already against the windshield divider and I can't adjust them any further toward the middle.

Does the passenger wiper stop too early or does it go full travel?

Good question, i wasn't really focusing on the passenger side as it was working normally.

Is there an adjustment between the two?

My issue is that the wind picks up the wiper arm on the driver side of my 07 Dutch Star at high speed an get hung up on the edge of the windshield. Cannot find any adjustments.

It could be the wiper arm or the tapered knurl the wiper arm fits on. There is a world of information on this in this link:

Hope this helps.
