Wipers will not turn off

When I turn on the windshield wipers on my 2019 Newmar New Aire 3341 they will not turn off. When I turn off the engine the wipers will continue to run for about a minute before stopping. Sometimes they stop in the up position and sometimes they will be near the bottom.

Can someone help me in finding the fuse for the wipers or could there be a relay problem?

Where are the wiper controls on your coach ? Dashboard or steering wheel ( smart wheel ) ?

Is this coach on a Ford chassis ?

The controls are on the steering wheel. It is on the Frieghtliner chassis. Thanks for the help.

Coaches with a " Smart Wheel " have a control module , that takes the signals from the switches on the steering wheel and provides the operation signals to the systems on the chassis .

A call to the Freightliner help line should provide you with the manufacturer's name of the control module and testing information.

Depending on access , replacement can be difficult , the actual module is supplied loose with the dash wiring harness and Newmar secures it while they're building the dash.
The cost of the unit will be the big hit , should the issue be internal .

I'll have a quick look around for threads from other members on the subject.

EDIT: at the moment this pdf is what I've found , the date of publication means it may be of little use on your 2019 coach , but it will give you an idea of what testing would be involved and the size of the module .
Also note that Freightliner may no longer use this brand of control module .

There is a problem with the wiper motor and it needs to be replaced.

The exact same thing happed to our New Air 3545 on the trip home from buying it. Frieghtliner had to replace the wiper motor. There was a battle between Newmar and FL as to who owned the responsibility for the repair.
