Thumbs up Wireless charge pad and iPhone X

As an iPhone user I haven't had much need for the wireless charge pad and quite frankly that blue light was annoying. I got an iPhone X this past week and have been wondering if the iPhone X would work not having the highest faith in Newmar's technology choices. Gladly, it works. And that blue light turns green when it's charging Works well.

Buddy of mine tried his X in my NA the other day - no problem.
I'll probably end up with something like this for my 7+ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074Z67JKN/

I have never been so happy to read a post. I have had a wireless charging pad in my Escalade for 3 years now and have not been able to use it with my iPhone. Got the X a few weeks ago and alas it is not compatible with the older charger. I figured Newmar would be the same but you guys give me hope! Thx.

Let me know if that works with the Newmar blue light special for your 7+. I haven't had my 7+ long enough to even consider switching yet.

It is my understanding that the only I phones that are able to be charged on a mat is the I phone 8 or 10, the others do have a case you can buy to allow them to be chargeable

NealC - does your VT’s charger work with the iPhone’s protective cover on or do you have to remove it?

Have an IPhone 8plus with protective cover and it charges ok on the charge pad. FYI for those with 8s with the same question.

I use a clear TPU rubber cover and keep it on. It charges fine with it on. Here is the one I got on Amazon.

It was standard and I thought all models had it.

Each coach is different. I looked at LADP pictures on the Newmar website but couldn't see a place for the phone. Not the best picture they have online.
