G'morning. While we've hauled over the pass, we've not stayed at the campground you mentioned. We sure liked the whole area however. Hung out for a week or so over in Mesa Verde park and toured from there (Durango, Silverton, etc.). Hope somebody who has stayed at Wolf Creek Run will respond.

Can't say enough good things about Pagosa Springs and this resort! It is always in our top 3 favorites, and have never met anyone who was not itching to go back. Great hosts, activities, surroundings, sites, and people. The town is great, too!

Their rates are a bit above avg, but its a great facility with a friendly, helpful staff. There are 3 rows of sites, the upper row is close to the highway and gets some road noise during the day, but minimal traffic overnight. So much to do and see in this area, you wont spend a lot of time sitting around camp. Mid Sept is usually when we have our peak aspen leaf colors. nights will be cool, days will be sunny & warm.
