Is the remote that you purchased from MCD battery powered? Looks like I will also need to order the remote and do some programming on my door shades.

Yes, it is battery powered and wireless. It is the same as the shade controller which came mounted over the headboard in the bedroom of our 2015 Dutch Star 4369.
Hugh37 - if you go ahead and reprogram, here's a tip- unmarry the door shade first. Then reprogram it to a spare and marry it, if you wish, to the all button. If you don't unmarry first, when you program the spare button, it will work fine pushing the spare button, but since it's still married to the "old" passenger side button, when you push that passenger button, it will still be activated, hence the need to unmarry first. Had me going for a minute or two when I did ours last week.
This has been a great thread and I got a lot of info on how to change some things on my shades. I have extra buttons on the big remote so was able to program in some convenience factors, thanks for the help.
