Yikes! Water leak when water pump is on NA 3341
We're in the middle of a month long trip and just stopped for the night. When we hooked up to water, the fresh water tank filled, but then seemed to be in overfull mode and water started leaking from wetbay area and back of coach on both sides.
Here's what we have narrowed it down to - when there is pressure from the RV site water spigot being 'ON' OR if the rig water pump is 'ON', it leaks like crazy and drains the fresh water tank.
Any ideas? As is, we have water in the fresh water tank, but if we turn on the water pump to have water in the rig, it leaks out the back and side.
Any help is appreciated

When this happened to me I think I just had to get some water out of the fresh water tank. I over filled the tank. Just run on pump mode for a while and make sure valve are in the right position.
Sorry I can't remember more but ultimately nothing was wrong for me but operator error.
Good luck

If you are disconnected from city water and you have water in the tank, let me ask this question.
Does simply turning ON the pump cause the leaking? If “yes,” then you likely have a broken connector in the pressure lines for the rv, located somewhere above where it leaks out.
Also, does the pump ever shut itself OFF once you turn it ON? If “no,” that confirms a leak in a pressure line.

Thanks @okcnewbie - we tried this, didn't work. Got the fresh water tank to 80%, but still leaking when pump is on.
Thanks for the input

@ljwt330 - yes, turning on the pump causes it to start leaking, and, the pump doesn't seem to shut itself off - looking like it's just a big leak.
Thanks for the input

Just to add, the leak could be from any place in the system, but most likely at a fitting connection or valve. Not knowing the plumbing layout of your coach, you will need to do some hunting. It could be from the diverter valve for the water fill/city water if the location fits the leak.
Point is, your leak happens whenever the plumbing is pressurized either by city water or pump. It is not usable until fixed.

Just wondering what you found. It's always nice when the solution is posted so others can benifit. I know that's the last thing you're worried about in the middle of an emeregency though.
