Zone Temperature Incorrect

One of my Multiplex zones (Living Room) temperature is show 16 degrees while all other zones are showing the correct 76 degrees. Is there a way to diagnose and confirm it is the Air Temperature Module & Sensor?

Is the wiring accessible? Swap two zones and see if the bogus reading moves...then I would suspect a bad sensor.

Do you have that zone set to read Celsius?

Not sure, I will have to see if one of the other three is easy to access and remove. Thanks.

I don't knowingly have it set to Celsius. I don't think so, because the temperature has sporadically jumped around in the past, but it would always return to normal. Now it is staying a the low temperature and not changing. I will explore using another sensor but suspect it won't work since each of the sensors have a unique address and a working e-plex module (in this case 303TM1) will read correctly no matter where it is connected to the bus.

Location of Temp Module?

Does anybody know where the front heat-pump e-plex temperature module is located on the 2008 Essex? Is it behind the upper cabinet above the door?

Your coach has the e-plex system. The temp sensors are eplex sensors. THey are located behind the white on the wall. You have 4 sensors, one for each zone. On my coach, zone 1 is located near the door. Zone 2 is located by the mid-coach TV. Zone 3 is in the vanity above the sink. #4 is back in the bedroom near the closet.

When you remove the white cap, you will see the end of the sensor. Gently pull on that wire and the entire e-plex module will eventually appear.

I replaced 1 bad sensor in 2015. I have since completely removed 3-plex from my coach as it is obsolete.

Not likely that it's set to Celcius. 16 Celcius would be just under 61 Fahrenheit

Problem solved....

I located the E-plex module (PN 303TM) consealed in the narrow space below the bottom of the cabinet above entry door. I had to pull up the carpet covered board that was stapled in. It turned out that one of the four ribbon cable wires was broken from what appeared to be caused by the wire chaffing against the lower panel board that it passed through. I was able to solder them together and then wrap with heat shrink tubing. It is back to displaying the correct temperature.

This fix avoided having to purchase a replacement module from Newmar which they have priced at over $500.

Still having issues with mine and Silver leaf says it is not a module issue on their side as all the Silver leaf module does on the NA is to read the temp from the AC control board which receives the temp from the sensor.

After changing the sensor out twice someone posted theirs was a splice issue on the sensor located in the belly and if that is not what it is it is the control board on AC. It appears to be somewhat intermittent so I am guessing it is the spice.
