110v Exterior Outlet

I'd like to have at least one exterior outlet on my '01 36FDDS. If there is one, i don't see it.

Anyway, i see a metal electrical junction box in the ceiling of my passenger side front most storage compartment.... (I have not opened it up yet)

Is there a good place to pull power? or is that suitable power source?

I think WRV believed that the outled in the rear curbside storage bay which has a removable cover would service both 12V and 120V outdoor needs, this is what I used.

I do see that junction box in the front storage bay which I'm guessing services the outlet behind the passenger seat. I'm looking to add a slide-out TV in that front bay and will likely add an outlet on that circuit.......careful though that is the circuit that services the refrigerator outlet as well

Interesting.
My 2000 36 has a regular 2-plug outlet in both the fore and aft storage bays. They are on different circuits. In addition there is the coax /12v combo outlet.

Will have to look for that covered outlet. It's probably there and i've missed it.

I am looking forward to seeing your TV addition. I'd like to do this as well.

The outlet I'm referring to is inside the storage compartment that is under the refrigerator. There is also a 12V outlet there as well. I added a small power strip down there so I could also charge the 2 Milwaukee battery chargers that I have mounted on the wall down there as well.

When I had my 2001 34 footer, I installed a 30 amp outlet on the outside of the compartment where Brianna's last picture shows. I was able to snake the proper gauge wire up to an empty 30 amp breaker at the the fuse panel. I did this so I could use a 115 volt welder.

Fun with electricity.

Brianna, I think you have a 2000MY, single slide???

My 2001DS has a junction box up on the ceiling/floor of coach to feed that outlet behind the passenger seat but no factory installed outlet like yours. But it would be pretty easy to put one in with a little EMT fom the junction box.

I plan to use that junction box to install an outlet for my slide out/drop down TV project that I'll put in in a bit when it cools down here in AZ......this should be fun

Brianna,
I believe someone may have added that forward basement outlet on your coach. The woodwork looks to be a mod as well?
Derek perhaps? Lol, anyways, good idea. Didn't you have a large ice maker or freezer you removed? I wonder if it was installed for that feature.
