2000 Headlight Switch

Part numbers might already be posted here...just changed the headlight switch after the overhead dash halogens over heated the contacts. Now have LED pucks throughout.
Here is the part number. Holes were drilled for mounting screws behind the dash.
Got this on eBay for $70. Old stock, new in box. Ford parts wanted close to $200.

Looks like the slowly failing switch on my '07. What a poor design!

I have had no trouble with my switch except for the overhead lights. I am sure it was because the overhead lights were halogen and pulled more amps/watts than the switch was designed.

Mike, not home to check right now, but I believe our build date is 10/99. An early 2000. Santa Dave has a later 2000 he might be able to confirm.
