2002 Paint Codes

I've searched the ACA website and I can't find the paint codes I need. I know I found them a few years ago, but the ACA website has been reconfigured and it looks like 2002 is no longer there. I have an early 2003 Alpine that used 2002 colors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

...as I recall, there were a number of paint schemes for Alpines in 2002/2003...most opinions suggest that due to aging/fading, the OEM paint codes really arent that helpful for a repair....most suggest getting the paint computer matched based on the current paint colors.....

I think there were three paint choices back then. A few years ago I used the paint codes available as a baseline for the painter doing work on my coach. He tweaked it to match. I would like to do the same thing again.

Good Morning

I took a panel of my 2002 40FB to Born Paint in Peoria IL. I have the color matches which I can send you when I get hone in a few weeks. I have 4 colors on mine, not including the white. The color formula is taken off a panel so it may be faded a little. They are what I call blue, tan, cream, and a semi silver. Let me know

Thanks Mike. Our coach has the tan exterior color scheme, so I don't think I'll find any matches with your coach. I wonder what happened to the paint info that used to be available at ACA.

Hi Mike,

I had some minor paint work done while we were at the WHMA Indio Rally. They did a computer paint match at their shop by borrowing my refrigerator vent panel (which just happened to contain all colors used on my coach). They did not paint an entire panel, but you cannot detect where the paint was blended. I don't think it's important to know the manufacturer color codes anymore - computer paint matching has come a long way.

Cheers!

In fact if you were to use the original codes, unless you were painting the entire coach the colors would not match. The UV that a coach is exposed to over 15+ years will fade the colors. Have the shop computer match the colors you will be much happier.
