2004 Alpine Meritor Hydraulic Brake Booster leakage problem

Hi,

My Brake Booster has a small fluid leak at weep hole where the Master Cylinder bolts to the booster. Does anyone have information on a rebuilt booster kit? I thought I had read in the Alpine Forums that someone had
replaced O ring in the hyd booster and solved the problem but I cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't just change an oring. Since you are going to have it apart change out the plungers too, and check the bore.

I don't know about a rebuild kit. I had a small leak in about the same area. In my opinion, when it comes to brakes, I wouldn't rebuilt one, so I bought a rebuilt one.
I bought mine from Brake Systems Inc. Portland OR 503 236 2116. Part number
RV2771494X. It is made for RV's. They had it in stock and knew exactly what it was when I walked in with it. There is no sales tax in OR.

I bought it in June 2011 and the cost was $257. I don't remember a name as I think they exchanged my core and shipped back in the box. I would ask for 12 volt brake pump and motor RV 2771494X and it also had a MRX after that.
