Hi I'm trying to find a radiator for my 2004 Avalanche this is a rear radiator style not a side mounted rear radiator style. Does anyone have any ideas were I could find a radiator for my coach. Thanks. John

diesel23 - I don't have a direct answer for you but the following link seems to have he best discussion on the Avalanche radiator:

http://www.irv2.com/forums/f104/wrv-...tor-62191.html

NOTE: I believe that Mark Harrah referenced in the above thread is no longer available to ACA as a WRV reference.

I used the search tool on this forum to review related discussions. It appears that you need to either have yours repaired or find a radiator shop to build a new one from near "scratch". Hopefully, someone else can provide better information on your issue.

Mac's Radiator in Portland made a new blueprint for the standard Alpine side radiator to replace the 05-07 aluminum radiators. Perhaps they'd do the same for Avalanche rear radiators. Also possible, WRV was using Radiator Specialties of Sacrmento, CA for the side radiator coaches. Perhaps same outfit supplied the rear radiators.

John,
What has happened to your radiator to need replacing it ? Just asking because I'm a recent new owner of a 2005 Avalanche and wonder if there is an inherent problem I need to watch for.

Thanks,

As an old trucker and a former small fleet owner, I have replaced a few truck radiators. Assuming your tanks are ok, I would think a good radiator shop could have a core made and assemble it to your tanks. For a complete radiator you might check Northwest Cummins in Yakima, Wa or Audreys RV parts in Union Gap, Wa. I understand they purchased the left over parts from WRV, hope this helps you, old trucker
