I am looking at a 2005 alpine coach. Any problems I need to be aware of before the purchase. Such as problems with slide leaks, hydro hot, residential refrig, etc. I currently own a 2002. The coach is a new 2005.

Go to Find and enter any one of these terms, and you will see lots of discussion. Or, just peruse the topics just a few items down for this information. Suggestions has a number of posts on those items, as well.

You will have a MUCH larger selection of used coaches in the 40' length. I have a 36' mid-door and love the layout and space.

Trehcub,

Just so you know, WRV is no longer making a 38ft coach as of the 2007 model year. I frankly don't know if that makes buying an older 38ft a good investment or not. But Rick is right, there are a lot more 36ft (which is actually 37ft long) and 40ft rigs out there. I do know that the 38ft has a little different kitchen than the other lengths, so you may prefer the 38's layout.

I just saw a 38' on Guaranty Junction City's website. Don't remember the year but you can check it out!

Trehcub- I neglected to mention in my last note that it would be worth your while to make a call to Rich and Lindsay at Guaranty RV. These two are the most knowledgeable salespeople around when it comes to Alpines. They ought to be able to cut you a competitive deal too...and no, I'm not related to either one of them. The SoCal Rv group has a lot of participation with them, and they are are extremely supportive of Alpine owners. They also have most all the answers or will get them for you. Call (800)825-2333 office, or (541)954-5023 direct.

Good Luck
