A little info B/4 I leap; re. top engine access

We have owned this coach, (2006 Apex 40') a little over a year now, and I have worked on various things, (Many) and have had my hands in lots of her private places; (the coach).
Just for grins, and before I may really need to, I want to open up the area over the top of the engine. Since our other Alpine was a 36' with a centerline fore and aft fixed bed, the engine access was pretty straight-foreward. I'm thinking our current 40' with the crossways bed that moves with the streetside slide, (plus the vanity slide), will be a lot more compli-
cated. So, before I start tearing the bed apart, etc. etc. maybe some advice from someone with a similar coach would be advantageous.
Sooooooo, someone? A little coaching on the coach?

Lots of conversations on the forum [some recent] on how to do this. Basically, the entire floor between the bed and the back closet can be removed, including the stub wall under the closet--both come out as a single piece [carpet too]. The challenge is finding the numerous screw heads imbedded in the carpet by WRV, both around the perimeter of the floor and the stub wall...
