Air bags

Finding airbags was becoming difficult in the last few months. I ordered mine a month or so ago, and they were on back order from Firestone until July. They showed up today, so Firestone musta finally had employees show up at work, lol. If you’ve been trying to find some, or been thinking about replacing yours preventively, now’s a good time to get em. You’ll know they’re fresh. $935 from Michigan Truck Spring. Might find em cheaper elsewhere if ya look around.

I just installed mine last week. The cutdown 1 1/8” wrench is a great time saver for the nuts on the bottom front air bags. You can see that recommendation in previous air bag posts from Andy29847.

Quick question. Do all the Alpine coaches use the same airbags? I have a 2001 34 FDDS and was curious if they all use the same pert number.

Pretty sure they all do. At least all the earlier years. When I was searching for part numbers on here, the same numbers came up repeatedly.
