Good to know! I just turned on the heating element about an hour ago. It is pulling about 10 amps as mentioned above. Going to check it in a bit and see how warm it is.

I find that the electric side of the water heater is adequate for the 2 of us when there is an external power source. If we need to take 2 showers in a row we have always had enough hot water thanks to our Oxygenics shower head.

The propane side will recover much faster for sure but we only use propane when it's the only alternative.

10GA might not sound like a lot of water but in a motor home if you ar judicious with your water usage we have found that it is more than enough
