Takepride ... the Phoenix Cruiser appears to be a C class RV so I would imagine it represents a "downsizing" effort to save on gas, cost, etc.
BTW ... I live in Parker, Colorado.

Current Owners of VIN #75636
We originally purchased a 2000 Alpine Limited Edition FDS VIN #74063 w/a Cummins 350 ISC from a private individual, Richard Emery, in Kennewick, WA in April 2002. We believe he was the original owner.
In January 2008, we traded it through a dealership on a 2006 Apex FDQS VIN 75636 w/a Cummins 400 ISL, We believe it was originally owned by Steve and Richard.
We reside in Wabash, IN. Thanks for gathering this important information!

Charles and Marca, anytime you are around the south side of Indy, look us up at Indy Lakes on Southport road, east of Highway 37. Any other Alpines in Indiana.
Takepride,
Go ahead and put our last name in Dietrich, Home port Fresno, CA. parked at Indianapolis for now. Engine 330. We are second owners , purchased in July 2004 from DeMartini Grass Valley, Ca.
This will be great to put in an Excel sheet and sort by states.

T-Pride,
We traded down for a number of reasons, not the least of which was the Alpine was destroying our driveway.
Phoenix Cruisers are all Class C but without the cabover bunk (some call it a B+). Consequently, I can get it into darn near anywhere and I don't have to tow to do some sight-seeing. Just drop the connections and go.
The fit and finish of the Phoenix Cruisers are quite high but not in the class of an Alpine.
Do I miss the Alpine?
Not really.
I lurk here because when I 1st announced I had traded the Alpine, Engineer Mike asked me to stick around because he thought all the mods I did to (and things I learned about) the Alpine might someday be worth something to other Alpine Owners.
So, here I am.
