Saw a '05 38' FDTS at Fredericksburg RV, Fredericksburg, TX with Texas plates, this week, stopped by 3 times, never anyone home.

Saw what looked like a 36' (small bedroom window on driver's side) with Sherwood exterior, possibly towing something on the eastbound 210 freeway in Monrovia, Ca.

On I-5 this afternoon, just past the Maytown exit in SW Washington, and was passed by a Limited SE. Looked good as it faded into the distance!

Dr Dave - that was probably Wil Rathke in Fredricksburg. He is at that location a lot. Too bad they were not home - nice folks!

Tom & Patty, I think that was Debbie and I. We were east bound about that time but I was watching the traffic very carefully. Were you driving a white Alpine west bound? I had a glimpse of a RV but the traffic had my attention!! On our way to Ohio for the season.

No, I was in a white Ford Flex. Some people think it looks big and boxy. Traffic was kind of heavy going your way.
We don't see many Alpines out here.

Alpine Sightings

On December 8, 2016 or so, I pulled into an RV park in Golden Valley, AZ and an Alpine was parked directly in front. He and wife were from Seattle area (I'm from Poulsbo) and we chatted.

Then about 3 weeks ago, a 2009 Alpine pulled in. They were from Tri-Cities area of Washington. Yes a 2009! He said it was built in 2007, supposed to be a 2008, but the title says 2009! He had just picked this coach up in Yuma and headed home. He has to drive back to Yuma to deal with selling his 1999 Alpine or bring it back to Washington to sell. So how about that? A guy that owns two Alpines!!! LOL.

I was amazed that I saw two Alpines within the span of almost 4 months at the same RV park. (I had spent the winter there. Both Alpines were there for 3 nights and 1 night respectively.)

Saw a '98 or '99 40FDS with Montana plates and a Jeep dinghy at Lake Cachuma (near Santa Barbara) this weekend. Went by twice, didn't see anyone outside.

Thursday 27th was a great day to travel. Saw 3 Alpines on I-30 heading east. 1 Bobtail, One with a small car, and one flat towing a crew cab pickup. All were between Little Rock and Sulphur Springs Tx.

Caught a quick glimpse of what looked like a 40' southbound on I-5 near Roseburg, Oregon yesterday morning.

I can't remember that far back, but since I posted on March 16th I'll stick with that date. On April 16th I may have been spotted towing something eastbound on the 210.
