9/26/19. Spotted on I-80 west bound (just west of Davenport) a ‘04 pulling a red with white fabric top 4x4 toad.

We are so close to that coach you saw. We pulled into West Lake Park, the Park Terrace Campground yesterday just before noon and had a lovely day. Now it's raining.

I drove by and they have drained the lake for improvements.

Had I known I would have stopped and said "Hello".

Travel safe!!

Drove by a 2000 gold in color parked at Walmart in East Peoria Friday Oct 11th. We pulled into Bass Pro Shop for the night.

Saw what looked like a 38’ on the 210 westbound in Pasadena. Alabama plates, Jeep in tow, Fireman decals on the windows.

Is there something distinctively Alpine Coach that you look for?

After buying ours, I definitely look more closely at all the RVs passing by, but so far no Alpines. :(

The “full front slide out” is one. Many other coaches have a smaller front slide that is centered between the headlights.

Thanks. I can always tell they aren't an Alpine when I see the outline of a smaller slide out up front.

I also try to look for the rear spoiler, but is that unique to Alpine Coach?
Is the full front slide unique, or just very few coach makers did that?

Perhaps I'll get better at it over time. I'm new to RVs in general, so most of the time I just try to figure the brand of each DP I see. I'm probably 50/50

As RVPioneer said the front slide for sure....the back end is a little distinctive and the side radiator is one of the first things to look for as you start your "Checklist".......and when you are in a campground there really is nothing like the idle of an Alpine!!

Thanks Paul

I know side radiators are not unique, but they are not ubiquitous. That's one of the reasons I chose to buy an Alpine. I like the side radiator design better.

So the full width front slide IS unique to Alpines?

What about that spoiler in the back? I'll have to start looking for that on other RVs I see.

Do Alpines sound different than another coach powered by an ISL400?

Sorry if I'm derailing this thread a little

Spotted an unusual beige tan with burgundy colored Alpine yesterday afternoon south bound on I-25 near the north side of Pueblo, Colorado.
