Question Another House Battery question 6 or 8 volt?

Can I use 8 Volt batteries for House Battery replacement?
I am looking at Duracell Golf Car Battery, Group Size GC8 $130, at Sam's Club. (Made by Dekka)

Our Costco has NO 6 volt batteries.

Thank you

NO, absolutely NOT. That would give your electrical system designed for 12 VDC either 8 volts or if two in series 16 volts. Either one would either not work or "let the smoke out" of your 12 VDC components.
