Basement hole plugs

I am missing some basement hole plugs. They look like 4 inch pipe plugs but I bought a couple at lowes and they are too big. I guess these are special for Rv.s. Does anybody have part number or place to buy them?

Thanks

Any marine store can sell them to you, they are called "Deck Plates" they come in 3 & 4 inch sizes, take an accurate measurement, they head on over to any marine store.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I posted this on the Class A site but could not find it when I looked back for it so I posted again on the Alpine site. I have been trying to do a lot of things at the same time so I am tired!!! I post and then go do work so there is a time lapse between answering.. Sorry for any confusion. I googled deck plates and found some on ebay.

Thanks again!!!!

We purchased a 4" Sea Dog deck plate from a marine store. The threads were a match.

POTENTIAL BASEMENT FLOOR WATER DAMAGE
You might want to look under your coach where WRV cut the basement floor to put these things in. We saw damage to the basement floor adjacent to them where lack of adequate caulking allowed water intrusion into the exposed edge of the wood. Worth checking.

I only have one in my basement below the TV outlet. What others do people have?
I solved the problem Basil pointed out by inverting it, i.e. removed it and installed it from the bottom. OK it is a little more difficult to open but in 6 years I have never used it anyway.
Bob, instead of using "user CP" you can just hit "search" and those options are there.

Learning, Thanks

Hey thanks for the tip on finding my posts!!!! I am learning a lot about my Alpine and about this great site! Bare with me as I have many more questions and need experienced people to help me with answers. I have already learned that a lot of the information is learned from having and using the motorhome and is in the heads of the people that have them, not in the many manuals that are available.

As far as the deck plates, I have 3 total. Two in the driver's side water bay and one in the passenger side black and grey water tank bay. I am missing the two in the water bay. Like I said I want the holes covered to prevent animals from entering the coach.

Thanks again to everybody that has contributed to this post and all my posts. I really appreciate the information!

If you are worried about vermin you may want to look back at some previous posts. They can get in via the sewer hose compartment and also from the engine compartment via the ducting that the cables run through in to the basement. If you can put a finger in a hole a mouse can get in there.
