Mine has three switches on the rear of the battery compartment. The top is House, middle is emergency jump and the bottom is the chassis. The middle switch should always be left off and never used to jump with a starting load. Its only/main use is to start up the Vansco, it the chassis batteries are dead, so that the dash battery jump switch can be used.

Dale, So the one I should turn off, to eliminate the solenoid snapping, is the bottom chassis switch ? Thanks

Yes. Just remember, with that switch off, the chassis batteries will not be charged. This shouldn't be too big of a problem, as they will be disconnected.

Thank you Dale, I think you have solved my problem. The only time I would need to turn off this chassis switch is when the coach would be sitting somewhere without external shore power or generator activation. Would this be correct?

Larry,

That will stop the cycling under those conditions. You will need to watch that it is not cycling while the charger is powered.
