My generator does not come on until 9.5 volts on deep cycle batts.

Questions?
1. Can that sense voltage be changed to 10.5V or some other voltage level?
2. If so, How?

My coach has the RS2000 inverter which yours probably also has.

From the System Control Panel up front press exit or enter until the menu shows "RS2000", "Auto Gen Start", etc.
Select the Auto Gen Start with the up/down arrows.
Scroll down to Auto trigger voltage or something like that.
Select it with "Enter"
Use the up arrow to increase the displayed voltage.
Press enter again to confirm and go back.

That should set it.

Will, I don't think I have this system control panel unless you are referring to the panel on the generator. There is a black box that says the generator is ready but no window on it.

Presently we are in Alaska and the coach is in Yakima. Will be there on the 14th of November and will look for that display. Mike, thanks.

Mike,

I think that you have the Freedom inverter, it so the AGS probably has a separate control.

See here:

Xantrex AGS

Dale is correct--unless your inverter has been changed out, 2003s came with the Heart Freedom [now Xantrex]. Believe the AGS used in 2003s was an Onan product??????. [which now looks alot like the Xantrex prouct]. Believe the low voltage limit for the circa 2003 AGS is 11.5Vs[preset--not adjustable]. If yours is going to 9.5Vs, it will probably require Tech help or replacement with an old Onan/new Xantrex product.
Clarification--the 2003 AGS is also a Heart Interface product. The AGS "black box" is located in the cubbard next to the control panel--no outside adjustment is visible.

Dale, Old Scout: That's the controller I have alright. I sent that in for repair under warranty. It worked once and never again. That's why a manual operation was required all the time.

My brother called me and said the generator started several days after he had hooked the the batteries up. He told me they were down to 9.5 volts.I had forgotten about that.

Thanks for the memory jog. Mike.

. </div></BLOCKQUOTE> Since the generator is started off the house bats in 2003, its unlikely the generator would have even cranked over at only 9.5Vs--unless he used the boost off the chassis bats.
