How do you remove the bay doors? I have a gouge across the two in front of the passenger side rear wheel well and need to touch up the paint. The coach won’t fit in the local body shop garage. They will do it if I can bring them just the doors.
( I got the paint code from the Alpine Coach Association web site)

Open the door and look underneath the hinge. You will see 2 or 3 blocks attached with screws. Remove those blocks, remove the struts, lift the door to just the right spot, and it comes off.

What Andy said … however it is very easy to make more paint damage on the coach when the door comes loose.
Here my tip:
Have a helper so 2 are holding the door.
After you loosen the strut lift the door until it is parallel to the ground it will let go at that point.
All the best
Jörg
Also, those paint codes are of little to no value to the paint. Many of us on this forum have taken that approach only to end up with the body shop having to do a computer match. If the body shop can’t do a computer match, take it to one who can. Good luck!
