Bent suspension

Does anyone know where I can find information on the front axle components for a 2008? The plate between the air bag support and the front axle on the driver's side got bent when it fell off the jack while tires were being replaced. From schematics I've been looking at I think it's called a Plate Spacer. It holds the sway bar bushing.
Thanks

Should be a Neway AS series steer axle under it.
You should be able to straighten it by removing the bracket and use a hydraulic press. I believe it’s just mild alloy plate steel. Removing the plate will be no simple task however.
Another option may be to contact a truck frame and axle shop. They would likely just chain the axle to the frame and use a porta power to straighten it. While your there, may as well check the alignment, ride height etc….
Good luck

Great advice from Alpine36--IMHO. My understanding is that properly equipped truck shops use this technique all the time to bend "adjust" camber on solid front axles. Believe that plate also provides support to the shock mounts behind the axle--so not really a great deal of stress here as compared to a tempered leaf spring, for example. Especially true in your case as the plate needs to be pulled back down into position.
