Step 5 tells you what to do if it won't connect.
Jim thanks so much When I get to coach today I will make the suggested changes and hope it works. Thanks again

I did not work so I got hold of Mark. He had me do a factory rest with the adapter plugged into an active USB port the adapter went crazy with a light show after a short time the reset was completely and all blue lights push the connect button and I was hook up with green lights. Went to my coach plugged in the adapter started the engine and surprise every thing worked. Did this twice same results. Mark knows his product. Thought you might like to here the out come. Allison well in the world of Blufire

Can you help me reset the odometer I have tried using the manual but no luck. There is a considerable difference between the coach and BlueFire dash

Hi Jeff,

Subtract the BlueFire odometer reading from the coach odometer reading to find the difference. Then go to the Settings page. About half way down the page you will find Odometer Offset. Enter that difference, and it should correct the BlueFire odometer reading. I don't remember if you need to put that in as a positive number or a negative number. If it does not correct it, change it to a negative number, or vice versa, and try again. One or the other should work. (On mine I think I had to enter -80.)

So I looked at adding this setup to my coach a while ago and it got moved to the back burner over a year ago.
Fast forward to now. I spent several hours reading everything over again.
I purchased a Samsung Tab A just for this and a couple of other thing for the coach.
I got it all up and running and downloaded the app and built a very basic dash for now.
I ordered the sender today, it should be here Friday.
So now for my question. I have two toggle switches one for the engine and one for the trans
On either side of the diagnostic port. Will I need to flip these for everything to work?
I’ve been wanting to do this a while now, I’m looking forward to getting this all up and running.

You should not have to change any switch. Just plug it in.

Jim, got the BlueFire and hooked it up and Patty tried to set it up going down the road. 5 minutes into the iPad and my check engine light came on, ABS light, speedo quit and so did the odometer along with the cruise control. I get some of those are tied together.
Pulled off and onto an on ramp to stop, unplugged the BF and all was well.
We have emailed BF Monday and called today but no response so far. Not to enamored with this BF.

Yup, that's what I have also. You don't need to flip them? I'm not having a problem, just looking ahead for when my sender gets here. What would you do with these switches normally?

First day using my BlueFire adapter. It looks like it has connected, but I only get partial functionality.
1. The fuel gauge is pegged at zero
2. The Outside Temp says NA
3. Neither primary or secondary air tank shows pressure
4. Fuel Remaining isnít functioning.

All the other data appears to be functioning. The odometer is off 95 miles, but I read how to adjust that.

All the missing data on my BlueFire app is working and available on my motor home dash, so I know itís there, just not getting to my custom dash.

My coach is a Ď07 Newmar KStar 3912. Spartan Mountain Master chassis, Cummins 350 ISL, using a 9 pin ECM plug.
I have a 5th generation IPad for my app.

Any help would be appreciated
