I met a guy who sold motorhomes. He didn't recommend rebuilding them. He had a better plan for him, er, um, I mean you. Buy a new one.

It could be on rebuilding the original that there would be some issue w/the main parts. But I'll bet a buck that rebuilding it w/new gaskets/seals would do the trick. If you can't find the Fresburg area rep, try calling Capitol Clutch & Brake. I don't know if they have everything ever made for truck brakes, but their shop looks like it. They're in West Sac and can probably either refer you to the correct local outfit or UPS the needed parts.

Bill,

Try Lion Automotive. I've talked to Larry and they are Bosch trained. He did say he does work on MH's. I will bet you dinner he can rebuild it if it can be done..
(My counsel said that last statement was vague enough to never have to pay up)
Ask for Larry. http://www.lionauto.com/bosch.htm

Thank You Tom & E Mike.
E Mike,
I knew about Capital Clutch & Brake in Sac. but wanted to find something closer to home. I talked to Larry Lion at Lion Automotive and Larry is a Bosch master tech. He called the factory and ended up leaving 4 different messages to people he knows at Bosch. I should know tomorrow about either a new unit or a factory rebuilt, if they do them, and the price.
He has one of the most impressive shops I have every seen in all my years of twisting wrenches. If a person is not familiar with the area, his shop is a little hard to find, but worth the effort. He does both gas and diesel work on heavy and light equipment.
Just waiting for answers--will let you know what's going on.

I have sold Larry equipment, that is how I met him. If he cannot find it, he can most likely manufacture it!!

Hope he gets your answer.

Tom: Larry could get one for me for $390. Called my warranty co. & they said they could get one for $190. It's your call. They ordered it out of Florida & being drop shipped to me here in Clovis, CA. This is a new unit there sending. Should be here next week. They waited untill I get back from the coast to order the booster.

Was the warranty company covering part of the cost?

They normaly have me get the parts & reimburse me. This time they said for that difference in price we'll buy the parts.
