.....2003 and earlier models have a series of fuses and diodes in the driver's side wheel well... check those fuses to start....also found in one case, where one-way diode was reversed in the fuse holder...believe diode is designed to reduce feed-back on 12v line but resulted in motor not being powered--was probably an OEM issue at factory....also need to make sure power/signal from brake light switch...
PS--when in doubt, you can always pull yellow handle to deploy parking brake as last resort.....

Are we sure about the key "off" part? My motor only runs with the key on, engine off on a 05 36FDDS. My last motorhome does run with the key off though.

Good call--pre-vansco rig brakes were powered off the unswitched side so boost brake came on regardless of key position. Perhaps not so for Vansco rigs--think EM has the latest on this one.....

Engineer Mike identified a Vansco programming problem in 2012 with some '04 and '05 (maybe later years too) coaches. Brake boost does not operate with key off. He has also detailed a work around fix. Start reading this thread http://www.irv2.com/forums/f104/brak...ff-113614.html

FWIW, I verified today, my '05 the pump runs with the key in the on position or in acc. Does NOT run with the key in the off position.

I am going to leave a stand-alone post re: the info for the more aggressive break pads I had installed on my coach about a month and a half ago.

I verified our ‘05 (75247) works with the key removed, turned off or on. Looks like it is another WRV random issue, you have to test your own coach.

I remember being at Redlands RV a couple of years ago and Rolando mentioned the need to check this feature from time to time to make sure it still works so it's a known issue (at least to Redlands).
