City Water Inlet Leaking

For the second time in the life of the coach, when we're not hooked up to city water, water drips out of the water inlet. We replaced the unit once, and I need to replace it again. I got the right size (about 4 1/2" across and 3 holes for attaching it) but when I went to replace it with the unit I got from Camping World (which appeared to be correct), it turned out that the one I bought had a female end, and the one that's in there has a male end. I searched the web and couldn't find one with a male end. The only markings on the old one that I could find were "RV 84 MBC" and in tinier letters, "IARMO" or "LARMO". Anybody know where I can get a replacement city water entry unit?

City Water inlet leaking

Gator ---I had the same problem here's what I did. Put a 90 elbow in the outlet and bought a 6 or 7" hose at HOme Depot and it has a turn off on it so parked its open traveling its closed. I hope this helps I'm sure there is a better way. good luck Jack

You might look at this thread which shows the 90 degree elbow along with the filters. I have since added another shutoff where the hose connects as Jack suggested. This has the added benefit of keeping critters out of the inlet.
