Clouded Instruments

Is there any method to clear the covering of the instruments such as speedo etc?
Getting new replacement instruments seems impossible.

Ugh that looks bad.
Have you tried a plastic polish?
I use Hut Ultra Gloss Plastic Polish for pen making on all sorts of plastic and it works very well.
I also polished the faux wood segments in the dash with it.

Looks like UV haze like headlights. I’d try that headlight restoration kit by 3M at auto parts stores

I have never seen the gauges fog like that. There are numerous headlight restoration kits available, I have used one on my headlights. I would try a small section of one on of the gauges in an obscure corner (yeah, I know they are round) or a small spot right in the middle, what have you got to loose, you can’t read them now.

PS - when you post, be sure to mention that you have an Avalanche, WRV only made a few and they are different from either a Limited or an Apex in many ways, but the Actia gauges are on all Alpines.

Wow those are bad. Does the sun hit them when your rig is stored?

DrDave mentioned they are made by Actia...Actia is junk, I know because I'm on my third Actia gauge set.

The ones they built for the Workhorse chassis go bad all the time.
