Connecting a battery charger to the house batteries

Hi Dennis,
Yes you can easily hook up a charger.
So I donít know what battery you have or what charger, so lets keep this real simple.
You See the 2 large wires from the back wall connecting to your battery... o.k. Hopefully the positive one is red. If not check on the battery top to find the + connection of the two wires.
The red clamp of your charger goes on positive so the red or + pole of your battery array. You do not need to disconnect anything just clamp the charger right on that connection and wiggle it to make a good connection.
Next hook the negative up and plug the charger in.
Start the change cycle.

O.K. Above is the simple way.

If you are worried doing something wrong then you can also disconnect the house main switch.
If you want to go one step further you can disconnect the positive house wire from the battery.
If you have an array of batteries you can charge all of them separate... anyways you see it gets more complex as we go.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi Dennis, your Xantrex Battery Temp Sensor should be on the negative terminal.

Where the temp sensors is mounted is OK. It can be glued to the battery top for proper operation.

The tab for the bolt is just a way to hold it, besides it only a few inchs away from a negetive.
