Dash Air Leak 2006 Alpine Coach

I know Mike covered this issue in detail some time ago. The air line to the lower panel is connected to M which is water in fuel light.
What is the purpose of the air line/nipple to M, which is the lower right fitting?
What happens if you plug the hose, and forget about the water in fuel message.

Thanks,
John Heitzenroder

Did you ever get a response to this? why would an air line be used for water in fuel?? I am trying to find out what the pressure line is for... it doesnt seem to trigger anything when i take it off completely??
