Day/Night shades

After years of restringing the shades in the bedroom I replaced them today. I went to Lowes and got their Allen + Roth Cordless Blackout Cellular Shade. I used 27” and 31” shades. Because of the wooden valance I did not use their brackets, I drilled holes through the upper housing and screwed directly in to the valance. On the smaller window I had to trim about an 1/8” off the width. I used a metal blade in my saw-z-all, easy, Peazy Click image for larger version

They look good! It looks like you may have lost the day time screen function that filters the sunshine. Perhaps you have a screen on the outside as I do for several windows.

We recently installed that same brand in our S&B guest cabin. (Aka the "Lady Lounge")
Nice quality for the price. They look great in your coach.
Nicely done.

In the bedroom we never used the daytime function. We have awnings, that’s what you see out the window blocking direct sun. I do have screens over the front side windows, door and windshield, they drop the temp in the coach about 10 degrees.

As you can see I kept the valences, so the clips supplied with the shade did not fit, I drilled a hole at each end of the top piece, being sure to avoid the spring inside.

hello there! I am changing out shades for our coach, I think your shades are exactly what I am going to get, but question -- what shades did you get for your small kitchen window? I can't stand mini blinds and and have changed all my front winds to the "Zebra shades" which are awesome! Just need now the kitchen window. Any advise would be much appreciated. :-)

We have all ShadePro day/night rollers (except front window which is MCI) and we are very pleased
