Did the dog assist?

RvPioneer. Yes Marley the Jack Russell stood over the job. We removed all the old carpet and sanded the steps down and coated them with roll on bed liner. Worked real well.

We had ours redone with a product similar to the original but in a darker color. I had previously kept carpet remnants on each step to catch dirt. We take our shoes off at the door so we’ll try no carpet on the steps for now.

I have had pretty good results with the same type product on other projects like tool box lids, inner fender wells, dolly and trailer fenders etc...
The area around the driving lights on my coach is in pretty rough shape. I had given some thought to trying some of the bed liner there also but have not done it yet.

Nice!

What brand? I've applied Rust-Oleum to various parts of a restored F100 (even the bed!). I'm not fully conviced of its toughness for wear and find the surface likes to hold dirt.

There are many brands to choose from with price and quality varying considerably.
